If I were to pose this question to my sis, I'm pretty sure she'll shoot, "you are so bo liao!" She has always been a non-believer of Fengshui while I am still sitting on the fence. I guess there is no harm making small changes in your daily life if those changes may potentially give you a smoother journey in life? :P But at the same time, I have not experienced anything 'miraculous' that can make me shout out confidently, "YES I am a believer!" To be fair, I'm not the most diligent person when it comes to things like that. I have not made an effort find out more, let alone follow through any instructions that comes along with it.
Anyway, my old wardrobe was those of sliding doors type and the sliding doors were mirrors. So, I get a nice full length view of myself. Those mirrors were so strategically positioned that in most corners of my room, I'll get to see my own reflection and yeah, that'd also mean I'm facing the mirror when I am sleeping. Old folks will tell you that this is a big no-no. Apparently, it affects the health and maybe other aspects of one's life?
So, this is one of the reason why I renovated the room recently. The fact is, my health (and some other aspects of my life) haven't been that good. Been through a couple of operations since I moved in and things haven't been exactly smooth. Naturally, mom attributed the not-so-good past years to the mirror and had been urging me to get the wardrobe changed. So now, the mirror is finally gone! Let's see if things will get better from now on.
Mirror or no mirror, I sure hope things will get better. :)
